Raul E Blanco is a Cuban pianist currently residing in Pullman.

He has played with numerous international artists including Alvaro Torres, Jose Alberto "El Canario", Maelo Ruiz, Tony Vega, Manolin "El Medico" and Jimmy Bosch.

He studied music at Music Conservatories "Luis Casas Romero", "Alejandro Garcia Caturla" and "Amadeo Roldan"​ in Camaguey and Havana, Cuba.

In 2008 he moved to Houston where he worked since, with the most renown Latin bands and musicians of the city as an artist and producer.

Currently, Raul is pursuing a Master's degree in Jazz at Washington State University in Pullman WA, where he is also a Teacher Assistant.

His most recent project is the dazzling jazz sextet "Jazz Wires", composed by some of the best student musicians from the university.
